Welcome to a new week Puyallup! April showers bring May flowers. It has been a very rainy last couple of months, and as April comes to an end I’m sure many of you are looking forward to sunnier days. It’s the time of the year where tulip farms are filled with rows of colorful flowers, the pink cherry blossoms have graced our streets, and we start to see just a little bit of the sun between rain showers. We hope that you made it to the Washington State Spring Fair and had a memorable time. There are several events in Puyallup this week that you won’t want to miss. Check out the community happenings this week below!

Yes, this is one of the ORIGINAL FUNKY JUNK SISTERS’ MARKETS! The ones all the magazines talk about! The Great Junk Hunt is a gathering of hand-picked vendors selling their best junkin’ goods. Lots of vendors, more junk, and more fun await the keen-eyed junker. If you spend your days on Pinterest or Etsy, this is an event you will not want to miss! Creative and crafty people unite at this fun-filled event.
The Puyallup Farmer’s Market is a popular community event. With fresh produce, flowers, yummy bakery treats, and a plethora of different vendors, the market is a great place to spend a Saturday morning or afternoon. Support your local small business and community members. A little rain doesn’t keep people away, but make sure to grab your umbrella. The market is a very family friendly event (bring your furry friends along too, dogs love the market!) The market is on Saturday from 9am-2pm.
Paint your worries away at Pinot’s Pallete. For an evening filled with art, food, drinks, and some good friends, what more could you ask for? They have several weeknight and weekend events with different options to pick from! Reserve your spot tonight.

Click here for this week’s weather forecast. Make sure to make the most of the sun breaks and hit the trails or parks! Puyallup Parks are a great place to visit in the spring. Each different park offers a different vibe and atmosphere. From family-friendly, to exercise, to biking, to covered in trees, to lakes and streams, Puyallup parks have you covered. The weather is supposed to clear up this weekend so get out there and enjoy mother nature (but bring your rain boots/jackets just in case).
